Hazelnut Pancakes
1 egg
3/4 cup milk
2 Tbsp Olive Cart Hazelnut Oil
1 Cup Flour
1 tsp Vanilla
1 tsp Baking Powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 Tbsp Honey
Crack your egg in a bowl and beat. Then add milk, oil, vanilla and honey and mix together. Now add the rest of your flour, salt, baking powder and oil, then mix together slowly, just enough to combine. Do not over mix your pancake batter. (If you want to at this point you can also add 1/4 cup or so of fruit/chocolate chips/ etc.)
Get your pan hot enough that water beads will dance on it - about med-med hi depending on the stove. If you are using a griddle that is not Teflon lined, coat it with some butter or more of the hazelnut oil. Spoon your pancake batter onto the griddle and watch until the top starts to get a little bubbly and loses its gloss. Then flip and cook until both sides are golden brown.
